Can I just lay artificial turf grass on dirt?
I want to buy turf from Lowes/Samsclub etc..and lay it on the dirt and stake down. Can I do that?
You can but it will look lousy after the 1st major rain. We install it professionally and excavate the area out about 3" 1st; then lay a weed barrier fabric; then install D.G. and compact it firmly then place the turf over that. This will prevent any earth movement under the turf from moving as well as make sure that it will drain evenly and
